Monthly Harvest Festival
Where: Calpine Community Center 131 County Rd Calpine, Ca The building is in a wonderful little park with plenty of space for kids to run and play, so please bring the little ones to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine while you shop.
When: The second Sunday of each month from Nov - May from 11-3. This week Dec 13, 2016 is the next one.. Farmer's Market this Sunday in Calpine - Most produce will only be availabler by pre-order. List to order from will be up on the evening of 12/7 and will be open until Friday night 12/9. If we do not have enough orders, then we will not have any available except a small amount that is being brought to the market. We will have a small amount of produce available for sale without pre order at the market. Pork is already up for ordering and there is a big sale on pork this month. We do have pork, lamb, nuts, wine, and a hot meal available this month. We also have a couple of artists, though would love to have others if any are interested. The Harvey ranch is also bringing their beautiful wool blankets, yarn, and felted soap.

What: This month - a traditional Harvest Festival - going forward - Drop site for pre-ordered fresh food and market - Some items are available for pre-order or purchase at market. Most of the produce must be pre-ordered this month. Pickup and pay for orders anytime between 11-2:30. This allows greatest flexibility for both customers and farms. Farms whose minimum orders are met will attend and bring additional product for those who did not order in advance.
Fresh Food Market with seasonal produce, citrus from just over the hill, various types of meat all fresh and from local producers, and wine.
Preserved and prepared food (bread, jams and jellies, salsa, mustard, horseradish, etc)
Food : Diane's Fresh Food will be providing fresh, hot food prepared from vendor ingredients. Available to eat at market, or take to go.
In addition each month may also contain:
Local arts and crafts available for sale
Local non-profit displays of current restoration/conservation projects
Information and signup for local tours and outdoor classes
Classes on nutrition, cooking, food preservation, yoga, dance, etc (will vary by market) all are family friendly and most are free
Seminars and community discussions on local conservation issues (water, land, etc), health issues, food supply topics.
